Abstract

PENGEMBANGAN SOAL MATEMATIKA OPEN-ENDED UNTUK MATERI SEGIEMPAT DAN SEGITIGA

Salah satu tujuan pembelajaran matematika adalah untuk melatih kemampuan penalaran siswa. Pemberian soal open-ended pada siswa dapat melatih kemampuan penalaran matematika mereka. Hal ini dikarenakan dalam menyelesaikan soal open-ended siswa dituntut untuk menaksirkan berbagai strategi atau cara dalam menyelesaiakan soal hingga diperoleh suatu penyelesaian atau kesimpulan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan soal matematika open-ended yang baik pada materi segiempat dan segitiga; (2) mendeskripsi hasil pengembangan soal matematika open-ended; (3) mengetahui kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika open-ended materi segiempat dan segitiga yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Uji coba dan tes untuk soal matematika open-ended yang dikembangkan dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Krian kelas 8. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan tes soal matematika open-ended.

Hasil analisis data menyimpulkan bahwa (1) penelitian ini telah menghasilkan suatu produk soal matematika open-ended materi segiempat dan segitiga yang terdiri dari 5 butir soal yang berbentuk uraian beserta pedoman penilaian untuk siswa kelas 8 SMP Negeri 2 Krian. Soal sudah dinyatakan valid, reliabel, dan objektif. Valid tergambar dari hasil penilaian dari validator, dimana validator sudah menyatakan soal matematika open-ended sudah baik berdasarkan isi (content), konstruk, dan bahasa. Selain itu kevalidan soal tergambar dari hasil analisis validasi butir soal pada siswa small group. Reliabel tergambar dari hasil analisis tes pada siswa small group. Keobjektifan soal tergambar dari adanya pedoman penilaian yang sudah dikembangkan berdasarkan penalaran matematika siswa. (2) Soal matematika open-ended yang sudah valid, reliabel, dan objektif dijadikan soal tes untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa kelas 8J SMP Negeri 2 Krian. Hasil dari tes didapat siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan penalaran matematika baik 2,78%, cukup 13,89%, kurang baik 66,67%, dan buruk 16,67%.

DEVELOPMENT OF MATHEMATICS QUESTION OPEN-ENDED FOR MATERIAL RECTANGLE AND TRIANGLE

One goal of mathematics learning is to train the reasoning abilities of students. Provision of open-ended questionto the student can practice their mathematical reasoning abilities. This is due completion of open-ended question, student are required for assessing a veriety of strategies or how to complete the test to obtain in a settlement on conclusion.

The purpose of this research to: (1) describe the process of developing a open-ended mathematics question well on the rectangle and triangle material; (2) describe the results development of open-ended mathematics question; (3) to know the reasoning mathematical skill students to solve the mathematics question open-ended to the retangle and triangle material has been developed. This study is development research. Trial and test for mathematics question open-ended is developed done by student of Junior High School 2 Krian 8th class. Collecting data using document and test of mathematics question open-ended.

Result of data analisyst that (1) this research has been produced a product mathematics question open-ended material of rectangle and triangle which consists of 5 item problem that from the description along with guidelines assessment for 8th class student of Junior High School 2 Krian. The question be valid, reliable, and objective. Valid illustrated of the assessment validator, which the validator have been declare mathematics question open-ended have been good by content, construction and language. An other the validity of the question illustrated from the analisyst validity of the items on the student small group. Reriable illustrated from the analisyst test on the student small group. Objective illustrated assessment have been developed by reasoning mathematical students. (2) The question of mathematics open-ended have been valid, reliable, and objective serve as a for reasoning mathematical 8J class students of Junior High School 2 Krian . The result of the test student who have the reasonig ability of mathematic good 2.78 %, enough 13,89 %, not good 66,67 %, and so bad 16,67%
