Open Access Policy

1. Type of Access

MATHEdunesa is a fully open access journal. All articles are available online immediately upon publication, with no embargo period, based on the principle that freely available research supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

2. Access for Readers

All articles are freely accessible to readers, with no subscription, registration, or access charges. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of articles, in accordance with the article license.

3. Costs and Payments

Readers: access to the journal and its articles is free of charge. No payment is required to read or download any content.

Authors: MATHEdunesa charges a publication fee (Article Processing Charge) to cover the costs of editorial management, production, and publication. The amount, the stage at which it is payable, and the payment method are described in the Publication Fees section of the journal website. There is no fee for submitting a manuscript or for peer review. Other administrative fees, such as the fee for Author-requested withdrawal, are described in Research Misconduct.

Payment of fees does not influence editorial decisions. Manuscripts are accepted or rejected based on scholarly quality and relevance only.

4. License and Copyright

Articles are published under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, described in Manuscript Licensing. Authors retain copyright, as described in Copyright Notice.

5. Preservation

The long-term preservation of articles is described in Archiving & Repository.
