Copyright Transfer Agreement

MATHEdunesa does not require Authors to transfer their copyright. By submitting a manuscript, Authors enter into this agreement and grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish the article under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, while keeping their copyright. The agreement is signed by the Corresponding Author on behalf of all Authors and submitted together with the manuscript. The rights granted to the journal and the rights retained by Authors are set out in the Copyright Notice, and the license terms in Manuscript Licensing.

1. Who Signs and When

The Corresponding Author signs this agreement on behalf of all Authors at the time of submission and uploads it as a supplementary PDF file through the journal’s OJS, together with the Originality Statement. A missing or unsigned agreement may lead to the manuscript being returned to the Authors before editorial processing continues.

If the Author list changes after submission, an updated, signed agreement is required, as described in Authorship.

2. Author Warranties

By signing, the Corresponding Author confirms, on behalf of all Authors, that:

  1. the Authors are the copyright holders of the manuscript, or have the right to grant the license described in the Copyright Notice;
  2. the manuscript does not infringe the copyright or other rights of any third party, and permission has been obtained for any third-party material included;
  3. all Authors have read and approved the manuscript and agree to this agreement.

Statements about originality, authorship, and the use of generative AI are made in the Originality Statement.

A false or misleading warranty is a breach of publication ethics and is handled according to Research Misconduct and the Retraction and Correction Policy.
