Manuscript Licensing

1. License

All articles published in MATHEdunesa are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) License.

2. What the License Permits

Under CC BY-NC 4.0, anyone may:

  • Share: copy and redistribute the article in any medium or format;
  • Adapt: remix, transform, and build upon the article,

for non-commercial purposes, provided that:

  • Attribution: appropriate credit is given to the Authors and the original publication in MATHEdunesa, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are indicated, without suggesting that the Authors or the journal endorse the user or the use;
  • NonCommercial: the use is not primarily intended for or directed toward commercial advantage or monetary compensation;
  • No additional restrictions: no legal terms or technological measures are applied that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

3. Commercial Use

Use primarily intended for commercial advantage or monetary compensation requires separate permission from the copyright holder. Requests may be sent to [email protected], and the journal will forward them to the Authors where appropriate.

4. Third-Party Material

The license applies to the Authors’ own work. Material owned by others that is included in an article may be covered by different terms and should be identified in the article. Users must obtain permission from the rights holder for any reuse not permitted by the applicable terms.

5. How the License Is Displayed

The license is stated on the website, on each article page, in the article’s metadata, and in the PDF of each article.
