Peer Review Process
Manuscripts submitted to Jurnal MATHEdunesa are reviewed through a structured process involving the collaboration of authors, editors, section editors, and reviewers. The journal employs a double-blind review system, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are are kept confidential to ensure objectivity and fairness throughout the evaluation.
At the initial stage, the editor conducts a preliminary review to check whether the manuscript complies with the journal’s focus, scope, and submission guidelines. Manuscripts that meet these standards are then forwarded to expert reviewers for in-depth assessment, while those that do not are returned to the author. Reviewers are guided by the Article Assessment Form to evaluate the manuscript in terms of originality, scholarly contribution, methodological rigor, clarity of writing, and overall relevance to mathematics education.
The typical timeframe for reviewers to complete their evaluation is 1–4 weeks, and the average duration from submission to final publication is approximately 20 weeks. The Editor makes the final decision on each manuscript, considering feedback and recommendations provided by the assigned reviewers.
