Analisis Framing Pemberitaan Selebgram Rachel Vennya Dalam Kasus Karantina Covid-19 (Kompas.com dan Detik.com pada tanggal 14 Oktober 2021)

Abstract

Covid-19 becomes a major problems faced by the government and society, causing a decrease in people's economic income. Quarantine is an activity to prevent the spread of the corona virus through self-limiting with other people. Quarantine is carried out if someone has traveled from abroad who returns to the country. In this article, the author raises the case of Rachel Vennya's quarantine during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021. This article writes a comparison about the news on celebrity quarantine case Rachel Vennya on kompas.com and detik.com on October 14, 2021. The case that ensnared Rachel Vennya is his disobedience to government regulations regarding quarantine. Rachel Vennya violated quarantine regulations by not doing it according to procedure, namely being shorter than it should be. In this study, the authors used the Robert N. Entman research method, which is a research model for looking at news through two major aspects, namely the selection of issues and highlighting certain aspects. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the views of kompas.com and detik.com frame the news about the celebrity quarantine case Rachel Vennya. The author conducts an analysis through published news about the Rachel Vennya case on October 14, 2021 on Kompas.com and Detik.com. The results of this study are that there are differences between kompas.com and detik.com in presenting news about the quarantine case of celebrity Rachel Vennya.
