PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI TERBIMBING PADA POKOK BAHASAN KALOR UNTUK MELATIHKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR DI SMAN 1 SUMENEP

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mendeskripsikan keterampilan proses sains dalam model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, dan (2) mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa dengan melatihkan keterampilan proses sains dalam model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan rancangan one group pre test post test design. Subyek penelitian yang digunakan yaitu siswa kelas X-6 SMAN 1 Sumenep. Data yang diperoleh antara lain hasil pre test, post test dan skor keterampilan proses sains. Selanjutnya data tersebut dianalisis dengan statistik yang terdiri dari uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Dari analisis uji-t diperoleh  thitung sebesar -27,97 dengan nilai ttabel sebesar 2,04. Karena  nilai ( t = -27,97 ) <  (t 0,25/30 = -2,04 ) maka hipotesis H0 ditolak dan menerima H1 bahwa adanya perbedaan antara hasil nilai pre test dan post test.  Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan lima aspek keterampilan proses sains antara lain, merumuskan hipotesis, mengidentifikasi variabel, merumuskan langkah percobaan, melakukan percobaan dan menganalisis data memperoleh kriteria cukup baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan melatihkan keterampilan proses sains dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar di kelas X-6 SMAN 1 Sumenep.

Abstract

This research is aimed: (1) to describe process skills of science in guided inquiry learning model and (2) to describe the student’s learning outcomes by practicing the process skills of science in guided inquiry learning model. The method used is quasi-experiment with one group pre-test post-test design. The subject of the research is the students of  X-6 of SMAN 1 Sumenep. Data obtained are results of pre-test, post-test, and scores of process skills of science. Therefore, those data are analyzed by using statistics, consist of normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. From t-test analysis, it obtains tcount -27,97 with ttable 2,04. Since the value of tcount = -27,97 < t0,25/30 = -2,04, therefore H0 hypothesis was rejected and H1 was accepted that there was a difference result between pre-test and post-test. Based on the observation of five aspects of process skills of science: formulating hypotheses, identifying variabel, formulating the experiment steps, experimenting, and analyzing the data, there was a good criteria on the result. Therefore, it concluded that the implementation of guided inquiry learning model to practice process skills of science can improve the learning outcomes of the students of X-6 of SMAN 1 Sumenep.
