Currently academic burnout among students has become an important concern because it has the potential to affect the psychological condition and well-being of students. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence related to the factors that determine academic burnout among FKIP UNS students. This study uses a survey design with Exploratory Factor Analysis. The population consists of 4,191 active students of FKIP UNS, with a sample of 365 students determined using proportionate random sampling. Data collection was carried out through the deployment of a four-point Likert scale questionnaire. Academic burnout was measured using the Academic Burnout Scale, while the determinant variables were measured using validated instruments. The results showed that there were three main factors that determined academic burnout, namely the condition resource factor (53.148%), the energy resource factor (17.410%), and the personal resource factor (12.293%). Condition resource factors include student characteristics, lecturer characteristics, social support, quality of educational processes, social skills, technological infrastructure, institutional facilities, cognitive needs, collective self-esteem, and campus climate. Energy resource factors include depression, family environment, anxiety, and learning engagement. Personal resource factors include academic motivation, self-efficacy, psychological capital, and academic stress.Downloads
