PENGEMBANGAN BUKU SUPLEMEN SOLUSI PINTAR UNTUK KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA TEKS NARASI PESERTA DIDIK KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim of explaining the process of developing a smart solution supplement book and the feasibility of a smart solution supplement book through validity testing, practicality testing, and effectiveness testing. This type of development research uses the ADDIE development model with 5 stages, namely the analysis stage, design stage, development stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. In this research, a small-scale trial was carried out with research subjects of 8 students selected randomly and a large-scale trial with research subjects of 20 students. The research results showed that the smart solution supplement book was declared very valid with an average material validation of 82% and an average media validation of 90%. The practicality of the smart solution supplement book was obtained through teacher questionnaire results with an average number of 90% and student questionnaire results with an average number of 94%. From these results, the smart solutions supplement book is very practical to use in the learning process. The effectiveness of the smart solution supplement book was carried out through data analysis from students' test results using the n-Gain formula calculation. In small-scale trials, pre-test and post-test scores were 0.63, while in large-scale trials, pre-test and post-test scores were obtained. post-test, namely 0.49. n-Gain value 0.30 ≤ g <. 0.70 falls into the moderate improvement category. From these results it is known that there was an increase in student test results after using the smart solution supplement book. It can be concluded that the smart solution supplement book for reading comprehension skills is suitable for use in the learning process.
