Peran teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan semakin berkembang.Banyak hal yang dapat dilakukan dengan teknologi, termasuk dalam pembelajaran.Internet merupakan salah satu teknologi yang sudah tidak asing lagi, melalui internet dunia pendidikan semakin mudah di raih. Terutama dengan adanya handphone (hp) yang membuat dunia dalam genggaman tangan, seperti yang diungkapkan Martinez (2014) tentang Development of a Mobile Service on a Wifi Network for the Evaluation of Mathematical Skills yang menunjukkan bahwa dengan pengembangan sistem evaluasi online melalui handphone (m-Learning) membuat proses penilaian menjadi mudah dan lebih efektif. Namun pada kenyataannya belum banyak guru yang memanfaatkan fasilitas tersebut. Hal ini telah dibuktikan dengan kurangnya pemanfaatan handphone dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peran m-learning pada aplikasi schoology dalam pembelajaran matematika. Dengan 4 aspek yang telah ditentukan oleh peneliti, berupa (1) Kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran (2) Aktivitas peserta didik (3) Hasil belajar peserta didik (4) Respon peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi dan tes. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 42 peserta didik kelas sepuluh dari SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Surabaya. Dari analisis data yang didapatkan (1) Kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan schoology di kelas X IPA 5 SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Surabaya mencapai nilai rata-rata 3,63 dari 4,00 dan termasuk kriteria sangat baik. (2) Aktivitas peserta didik selama mengikuti pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan schoology di kelas X IPA 5 SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Surabaya yang relevan sebesar 84,18% dan tergolong kategori aktif. (3) Hasil belajar peserta didik dikatakan efektif dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan schoology di kelas X IPA 5 SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Surabaya karena mencapai presentase sebesar 95,24% (4) Respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan schoology di kelas X IPA 5 SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Surabaya dikatakan positif karena mencapai presentase sebesar 63,11%. Dengan adanya penggunaan schoology proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih efektif.

Abstract

The role of technology in the world of education is growing. Many things that can be done with technology, including in learning. Internet is one of the technologies that are familiar, through the internet the world of education is increasingly easy to achieve. Especially with the mobile phone that makes the world in the hands, as Martinez (2014) stated about the Development of a Mobile Service on a Wifi Network for the Evaluation of Mathematical Skills which shows that the development of an online evaluation system through mobile phones (m- Learning) makes the assessment process easier and more effective. But in reality, there are not many teachers who utilize these facilities. This has been proven by the lack of cellphone utilization in learning. Based on these problems, this study aims to determine the extent of the role of m-learning in the application of schoology in mathematics learning. With 4 aspects that have been determined by the researcher, in the form of (1) The ability of the teacher to manage learning (2) Activity of students (3) Learning outcomes of students (4) Response of students. Data collection techniques are observation and tests. The subjects of this study were 42 tenth grade students from SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Surabaya. From the analysis of the data obtained (1) The ability of teachers to manage mathematics learning using schoology in class X IPA 5 Kemala Bhayangkari 1 High School 1 Surabaya achieved an average score of 3.63 from 4.00 and included very good criteria. (2) Activities of students during mathematics learning using schoology in class X IPA 5 Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Surabaya High School which is relevant is 84.18% and is classified as an active category. (3) Learning outcomes of students are said to be effective in learning mathematics by using schoology in class X IPA 5 Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Surabaya High School because it reaches a percentage of 95.24% (4) Students responses to mathematics learning using schoology in class X IPA 5 Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Surabaya High School is said to be positive because it reaches a percentage of 63.11%. With the use of schoology the learning process becomes more effective.
