Motif Pelajar Muhammadiyah Dalam Pelaksanaan Kultur Nahdlatul Ulama Di Pondok Pesantren Muslimah Tuban
Abstract
Islam is a religion that has a majority in Indonesia. In its development there are various streams of beliefs that were born from this religion. Two schools of belief in Islam that dominate in Indonesia are none other than Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah. The two schools have different ways of experiencing worship. One of them is found in the world of education that uses the characteristics of a certain flow. The hallmark of the learning process at the Muslimah Tuban Islamic Boarding School is the Nahdlatul Ulama culture. However, the students at the Islamic Boarding School came from two groups, namely Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah. The purpose of this study was to determine the motives of Muhammadiyah students in implementing the Nahdlatul Ulama culture at the Tuban Muslimah Islamic Boarding School. The theory used in this research is Alfred Schutz's concept of social motive theory as an analytical tool in research. The research method used is qualitative with Alfred Schutz's phenomenological approach. The results show that there are two motives, namely the because motive and in order to motive (purpose motive). Because the motive found in this research is that the Nahdlatul Ulama culture is a positive activity, an obligation as a
santri, to be able to train discipline, and to seek knowledge. Then, in order to motive found in this study, namely, to add insight and experience in Islam and to make both parents proud.
