Sosialisasi Kompetensi Sosial Siswa Penyandang Disabilitas di SMALB Siswa Budhi Surabaya

Abstract
Education is very important for all members of society, including people with disabilities. People with disabilities receive education to develop themselves and their social skills in society. In the development and social skills, socialization is needed and they must also be able to meet social competencies. In socialization, there are stages that must be fulfilled, namely the preparatory stage, play stage, game stage, and generalized other. Additionally, in social competence, there are components of assertiveness, cooperation, empathy, responsibility, and self-control that are expected to be fulfilled by students with disabilities. The purpose of this research is to analyze the socialization process and social competence of disabled students at SMALB Siswa Budhi Surabaya. This research uses qualitative methodownsyndrome and data collection through purposive sampling techniques. The theories used in this research are the theory of socialization by George H. Mead and Social Competence by Gresham and Elliot. The research results show that in fulfilling socialization and social competence among disabled students at Siswa Budhi, hearing-impaired students become students who are able to meet socialization and social competence. For autistic and downsyndrome students, they have not yet been able to meet socialization and social competence. However, for intellectual disability students, it was found that the ability to fulfill socialization and social competence varies at each level of intellectual disability possessed by the students.

Pada pengembangan dan kemampuan sosialnya membutuhkan sosialisasi dan juga juga mampu memenuhi kompetensi sosial. Dalam sosialisasi terdapat tahapan yang harus di penuhi yaitu preparatrory stage, play stage, game stage dan generelized other, serta dalam kompetensi sosial terdapat komponen asertif, kerjasama, empati tanggungjawab dan kontrol diri yang diharapkan bisa dipenuhi oleh peserta didik penyandang disabilitas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisi proses sosialisasi dan kompetensi sosial pada peserta didik penyandang disabilitas di SMALB Siswa Budhi Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan penambilan data dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori sosialisasi oleh George H. Mead dan Kompetensi Sosial oleh Gresham dan Elliot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalm pemenuhan sosialisasi dan kompetensi sosial pada peserta didik penyandang disabilitas di Siswa Budhi bahwa siswa tunarungu menjadi siswa yang mampu memenuhi sosialisasi dan kompetensi sosial, untuk siswa autis dan downsyndrome belum mampu memenuhi sosialisasi dan kompetensi sosial, namun untuk siswa tuagrahita kemampuan dalam pemenuhan sosialisasi dan kompetensi sosial ditemukan bahwa tiap tingkatan tuagrahita yang dimilik siswa berbeda-beda.
