Manuscript Type

Unesa Journal of Chemistry publishes two types of manuscripts: Original Research Articles and Review Articles. This journal provides readers with present developments in chemistry through these two article types. Each author is responsible for the content of published articles.

1. Original Research Article

An Original Research Article reports the results of original research that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The manuscript is organized into the following main sections:

  1. Introduction
  2. Research Methods
  3. Results and Discussion
  4. Conclusion

These are followed by Acknowledgments (if any) and References.

2. Review Article

Review Articles accepted by the journal are Systematic Literature Reviews and Meta-Analyses that critically summarize and analyze recent developments on a specific topic in chemistry. The manuscript is organized into the following main sections:

  1. Introduction – background, rationale, and objectives of the review.
  2. Methods – literature search strategy (databases, keywords, and time span), inclusion and exclusion criteria, study selection process, data extraction, and, for meta-analyses, the statistical methods used.
  3. Results and Discussion – synthesis, analysis, and critical discussion of the selected studies.
  4. Conclusion – main findings of the review and suggestions for future research.

These are followed by Acknowledgments (if any) and References.

Manuscript Preparation

All manuscripts, regardless of type, must be prepared according to the Author Guidelines and using the Manuscript Template.
