Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dan model pembelajaran langsung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen murni (true experiment design) yang dilaksanakan pada kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan. Sampel diambil dari dua kelas yang homogen, yaitu kelas XI IPS-3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPS-4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dengan model pembelajaran langsung. Dimana kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) memiliki hasil belajar yang lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung (MPL).
