Abstract
Students often experience learning difficulties in the process of working on some tasks. Students also experience several obstacles in understanding subjects, especially Mathematics. The aim of this study was to examine whether there was a correlation between self-efficacy and learning difficulties in Mathematics of the class XI students at SMA Negeri X Porong. The subjects in this study were 120 students of class XI. The researcher used class XI because it was a transitional adaptation phase from class X where lessons were getting more difficult. This study used a product moment correlation analysis with the help of the SPSS 26.0 for windows computer program. The results of this study indicate there is a correlation between self-efficacy and learning difficulties with the value of 0.604. Therefore, self-efficacy in the form of confidence is needed for students who experience learning difficulties.
