Licensing
LICENSING POLICY
1. Publication License
Articles published in the UNESA Journal of Chemical Education (UJCEd) are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). Authors retain copyright in their work; the license governs permitted public reuse of the published material.
2. Permitted Uses
Under CC BY-NC 4.0, readers and other users may share, copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format, and may adapt, remix, transform, and build upon it for non-commercial purposes.
3. License Conditions
Users must give appropriate credit to the author(s), acknowledge the original publication in UJCEd, provide a link to the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, and indicate whether changes were made. Credit must not suggest that the author(s) or journal endorses the user or the use.
Use primarily intended for commercial advantage or monetary compensation is not permitted under this license without separate permission from the copyright holder. No additional legal terms or technological measures may be imposed that restrict uses permitted by the license.
4. Author Sharing and Reuse
Authors may share the published version of their articles in institutional or subject repositories, personal or institutional websites, and non-commercial scholarly platforms, provided that the original UJCEd publication is properly acknowledged and applicable license terms are respected.
5. Third-Party Material
Third-party content may be excluded from the article’s CC BY-NC 4.0 license where indicated by a separate rights statement. Users are responsible for obtaining permission from the relevant rights holder when required.
