“PENGEMBANGAN E-BOOK INTERAKTIF PADA MATERI SIFAT KOLIGATIF SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XII IPA” (“THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTERACTIVE E BOOK ON THE SUBJECT OF COLIGATIVE PROPERTIES AS LEARNING RESOURCE FOR STUDENT OF SCIENCE CLASS XII”)

Abstract

In an effort to improve the quality of human resources, the government continued to make various improvements in education. One of the factors that lead to poor quality of learning is a learning resource has not been exploited to its full potential, both by teachers and students. e-Book can be used as a source of learning. e-Book is a book in electronic format contains information that can be either text or images. This study aims to determine the feasibility of interactive e-Book on the subject of colligative properties of solutions according to class XII students in science and chemistry teacher. The type of this research is  development research. Interactive e-Book on the subject of colligative properties are tested to a limited of small group of 10 students in grade science XII of SMA Negeri 1 Kamal Bangkalan. The Research is a development of 4D model (define, design, develop, disseminate) but the study was limited only to development stage. Interactive e-Book is reviewed by two media experts and a high school chemistry teacher of SMA Negeri 1 Kamal Bangkalan. Achievement indicators for the feasibility of interactive e-Book is the percentage of the overall aspects of the chemistry teacher assessment and student response of ≥61% who expressed a positive review. In addition, the study also observed the student activity when carried out using the interactive e-Book. Observation of student activities are use to support eligibility. Based on results of the research, it can be concluded that the developed interactive e-Book on the subject of  colligative properties solution are viable to be used as a source of learning. Judging from the ratings of teachers who expressed a very decent use by 88.33% of formats and quality of the media. And review of student responses to the interactive e-Book which states very decent use of 89.11%, covering media format, quality, clarity of media and media interest.

Dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu sumber daya manusia, pemerintah terus melakukan berbagai macam perbaikan dalam dunia pendidikan. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya kualitas pembelajaran yaitu belum dimanfaatkannya sumber belajar secara maksimal, baik oleh guru maupun siswa. e-Book dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu sumber belajar. e-Book merupakan buku dalam format elektronik berisikan informasi yang dapat berwujud teks atau gambar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan e-Book interaktif pada materi pokok sifat koligatif larutan menurut siswa kelas XII IPA dan guru kimia. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. e-Book interaktif pada materi pokok sifat sifat koligatif ini diujicobakan secara terbatas pada kelompok kecil yang terdiri atas 10 siswa kelas XII IPA SMA Negeri 1 Kamal Bangkalan. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model 4D(define, design, develop, disseminate) namun  dibatasi hanya sampai tahap develop. e-Book interaktif ini ditelaah oleh 2 orang ahli media yaitu dosen Unesa dan 1 orang guru kimia SMA Negeri 1 Kamal Bangkalan. Indikator pencapaian kelayakan e-Book interaktif ini adalah persentase keseluruhan aspek penilaian guru kimia dan respon siswa > 61 % yang menyatakan kuat. Selain itu dalam penelitian diamati pula aktivitas siswa ketika dilaksanakan proses penggunaan e-Book interaktif. Hasil pengamatan terhadap aktivitas siswa digunakan sebagai pendukung kelayakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan  bahwa e-Book interaktif pada materi sifat sifat koligatif larutan yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai sumber pembelajaran. Ditinjau dari penilaian guru kimia yang menyatakan sangat layak meliputi format media  dan kualitas media sebesar 88,33 %. Dan ditinjau dari respon siswa terhadap e-Book interaktif yang menyatakan sangat layak meliputi format media, kualitas , kejelasan media serta ketertarikan media sebesar 89,11%.
