PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT EDUKASI KEAMANAN PANGAN BAGI IBU RUMAH TANGGA DI KELURAHAN KETINTANG BARU SURABAYA

Pengembangan perangkat edukasi keamanan pangan dengan media power point dan poster dapat membantu peneliti dalam menyampaikan materi penyuluhan tentang keamanan pangan dan tujuan penyuluhan dapat tercapai. Namun, hal tersebut tidak sepenuhnya terdapat pada ibu-ibu rumah tangga di Kelurahan Ketintang Baru Surabaya khususnya pada pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang keamanan pangan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendiskripsikan kelayakan perangkat edukasi , mendiskripsikan efektifitas perangkat edukasi dan mengetahui respon peserta penyuluhan terhadap hasil perangkat edukasi keamanan pangan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan, dengan perangkat PLOMP terdiri dari fase investigasi awal (prelimenary investigation), fase desain (design), fase realisasi/konstruksi (realization/construc-tion), dan fase tes, evaluasi dan revisi (test, evaluation and revision), dan implementasi (implementation). Subyek penelitian adalah ibu-ibu rumah tangga di Kelurahan Ketintang Baru Surabya dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 20 peserta, berusia 20 sampai 45 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian yang digunakan adalah data analisis data deskritif dengan menggunakan persentase, diperoleh dari lembar validasi instrumen penelitian, dan data hasil penyuluhan dalam penelitian. Instrumen penelitian ini yaitu lembar validasi materi powerpoint, lembar validasi poster keamanan pangan dan lembar tes kognitif berupa pre test dan post test, lembar tes kognitif (pre test dan post test) ,  dan angket respon peserta penyuluhan. teknik analisis data meliputi analisis validasi materi powerpoint, poster keamanan pangan dan lembar tes kognitif dengan merata skor komponen dideskripsikan dengan rentang 1 sampai 4 (kurang, cukup, baik dan sangat baik), analisis efektivitas dengan menggunakan persentase ketuntasan dengan menghitung rata-rata dan uji-t. Dari hasil penilaian validator terhadap perangkat dan media penyuluhan, materi powerpoint memperoleh validasi dengan rata-rata 3.80, poster keamanan pangan memperoleh rata-rata 3.87 dan lembar tes kognitif memperoleh rata-rata 3.86 dengan dengan kategori sangat baik.  Dari hasil tes kognitif (post test) memperoleh nilai rata-rata 91 dengan persentase ketuntasan 100% tuntas, dan respon peserta penyuluhan mencapai kriteria sangat baik yaitu dengan persentase 96,5%. Saran dalam penyuluhan ini supaya lebih variatif dan meluas keseluruh lapisan masyarakat.

Abstract

Development tools food safety education with powerpoint and posters can assist researchers in communicating about food safety education materials and outreach objectives can be achieved. However, it is not entirely contained in the mother-housewife in the Village of New Ketintang Surabaya, especially in the understanding and knowledge of food safety. The purpose of this study is to describe the feasibility of the devices of education, describe the effectiveness of educational devicess and know the response of the participants extension of food safety education devices results.

This research is the development, Plomp devices consists of a preliminary investigation phase (prelimenary investigation), the phase of design (design), the phase of realization / construction (realization / construc-tion), and the phases of the test, evaluation and revision (test, evaluation and revision ), and the implementation (implementation). Subjects were mothers of households in the Village of New Ketintang Surabya the number of participants to 20 participants, aged 20 to 45 years. Data collection techniques used in this research is descriptive data analysis of data by using a percentage, is obtained from the validation sheet research instruments, and data results in the extension study. This research instruments  powerpoint sheet material validation, validation sheet poster food security and cognitive test sheet in the form of pre-test and post-test, a cognitive test sheet (pre-test and post-test), and the questionnaire responses of participants extension. data analysis techniques including analysis of material validation powerpoint, food safety posters and sheet cognitive tests with evenly balanced components described with a range of 1 to 4 (lacking, adequate, good and excellent), analysis of the effectiveness of using the percentage of completeness by calculating the average and test –t .From the results of the assessment validator device and outreach, materials powerpoint obtain validation by an average of 3.80, a food safety poster average gain is 3.87 and cognitive test sheet to obtain an average of 3.86 with the very good category. From the results of cognitive tests (post-test) to obtain an average value of 91 with the percentage of completeness 100% complete, and the response of participants achieving the excellent education that is with a percentage of 96.5%. Suggestions in this extension to be more varied and widespread throughout society.
