UJI ANTIOKSIDAN DAN IDENTIFIKASI SENYAWA AKTIF DARI EKSTRAK KLOROFORM DAUN TANAMAN BELUNTAS (Pluchea indica L.).

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang uji antioksidan dan identifikasi senyawa aktif dari ekstrak kloroform daun tanaman beluntas (Pluchea indica L). penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui senyawa aktif yang terkandung dalam ekstrak kloroform dan metanol daun tanaman beluntas sebagai antioksidan yang dapat meredam radikal DPPH. Kandungan kimia yang terdapat dalam daun tanaman beluntas meliputi alkaloid, fenolik, saponin, dan steroid. Pada uji aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan 5 variasi konsentrasi (10, 20, 30, 40, dan 50 ppm) yang diamati dengan spektofotometer UV-Vis. Nilai IC₅₀ dari isolat kloroform sebesar 107 ppm. Senyawa aktif yang terdapat dalam isolat kloroform ialah Phenol, 3,5-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl).

Abstract

It had been done a research antioxidant test and identification of active compounds from chloroform extract of  beluntas (Pluchea indica L) leaf. This research  aims to determine the active compounds contained in extracts of chloroform and methanol beluntas leaf as antioxidants, which can reduce DPPH radical. The chemical contents presenting in the leaf include alkaloids, phenolics, saponins and steroids. The test of antioxidant activity using 5 various concentrations (10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 ppm) were observed by UV-Vis spectrophotometer. IC₅₀ value of isolates from choloform 107 ppm. The active compounds found in isolates of chloroform are phenol, 3,5-bis (1,1-dimethylethyl chloroform).
