Analisis Kejadian Menstruasi dan Status Emosi Terhadap Asupan Energi: Sebuah Pilot Study

Latar Belakang: Indonesia masih menghadapi masalah overweight dan obesitas, terutama pada wanita. Asupan makanan dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, termasuk status menstruasi dan kondisi emosi, namun hasil penelitian mengenai pengaruh keduanya terhadap perilaku makan masih belum konsisten. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan kejadian menstruasi dan status emosi terhadap asupan energi pada wanita usia dewasa awal sehat. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan studi kuantitatif observasional analitik dengan desain cross-sectional yang menggunakan data dari penelitian utama pada bulan Januari 2026 di Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Sebanyak 18 wanita usia 20-22 tahun dengan status gizi normal dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Responden menjalani uji makan, dimulai dengan pengisian kuesioner status menstruasi dan emosi, konsumsi sarapan standar, serta pemberian makanan ad libitum tinggi lemak setelah 3 jam. Asupan energi dihitung menggunakan food weighing. Analisis data menggunakan independent sample t-test. Hasil: Jumlah energi (kkal) secara ad libitum tidak berbeda secara signifikan berdasarkan status menstruasi (p=0,815) maupun kondisi emosi (p=0,328). Kesimpulan: Status menstruasi dan emosi saat pengukuran tidak berhubungan dengan asupan energi pada wanita usia dewasa awal sehat. Penelitian lebih lanjut dengan menggunakan jumlah responden lebih besar dapat dilakukan untuk mengonfirmasi hasil yang lebih akurat.
