Hak Asasi Manusia Etnis Tionghoa dalam karya Pramoedya Hoakiau Indonesia

Abstract

This article focus on history of Chinese ethnic in Indonesia, special human rights of Chinese ethnic in Pramoedya Ananta Toer “Hoakiau Indonesia”. Pramoedya Ananta Toer had to defend them because Chinese ethnic had been victims of oppression human rights in Indonesia, for example PP no 10 Tahun 1959, which forbiden them to sell in the village. However they had given something positive for Indonesia in social, economic, politic, and culture. That all make him defend to human rights of Chinese ethnic his certainly that suitable with DUHAM charter, which say human being are born free in dignity and right in herent human beings as creatures of God. His thinking are: free choose citizenship right, the right not be enslaved, the right to justice law, and the right to be free to do any work.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Keywords: Human rights, Chinese ethnic, Pramoedya Ananta Toer book “Hoakiau Indonesia.
