PERKEMBANGAN EKONOMI DI KABUPATEN WONOGIRI TAHUN 1967 - 1985

Abstract

This research was conducted regarding "Economic Development in Wonogiri Regency in 1967-1985". The formulation of the problem are : 1) How was the economic condition of the people in Wonogiri Regency before 1967, 2) How was the economic condition of the people in Wonogiri Regency 1967-1985, and 3) What was the carrying capacity that underlies economic development in Wonogiri Regency 1967 – 1985. This research is a historical research, so to achieve the writing of history, there are four stages, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation and the last is historiography. The results of the research and discussion are that the economic conditions of the people in Wonogiri Regency before 1967 there were still regional social vulnerabilities motivated by the existence of phenomena that were detrimental to an area, such as poverty. The economic condition of the people in Wonogiri Regency in 1967 – 1985 indicated that the implementation of the construction of the Gajah Mungkur Wonogiri Reservoir has shown success. Wonogiri residents get an increase in income and the socio-economic life of the residents increases. The supporting capacity that underlies economic development in Wonogiri Regency in 1967–1985 was the construction of the Wonogiri Gajah Mungkur Reservoir, in which it has created jobs and the carrying capacity that affects economic growth, including human resources, natural resources, science and technology, culture, and capital resources.
