PERAN ANGKUTAN CERDAS SEKOLAH DI PONOROGO TAHUN 2012 – 2020

Abstract

The school bus is a transportation that has the function of delivering to and from school by bus passengers are students. Transportation is growing day by day according to the needs of the community one of them is the existence of Angkutan Cerdas Sekolah, which is a form of community needs regarding transportation. The innovation on vehicles launched by the Department of Transportation of Ponorogo Regency is not without cause but has the intention is to rerun suspended public transportation. This study has the formulation of the problem (1) What behind the operation of the Angkutan Cerdas Sekolah (ACS) and how is the rate of motor accidents in 2012 – 2020; (2) How is the development of Angkutan Cerdas Sekolah in 2017 – 2020; (3) What is the impact of the existence of the Angkutan Cerdas Sekolah on the society in 2017 – 2020. Based on the formulation of the problem, this research has the following objectives: explain the background the operation of Angkutan Cerdas Sekolah and describe the development of the motor accident rate in Ponorogo in 2012 – 2020, describes the development of Angkutan Cerdas Sekolah in 2017 – 2020, and to analyze the impact of the existence of Angkutan Cerdas Sekolah for the community in 2017 – 2020. The method of research used in this study is a historical research method with four stages of research, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this study indicate that the Angkutan Cerdas Sekolah shows that after the school bus, accordingly, the accident rate that occurs can be slightly reduced from the year before the operation of the Angkutan Cerdas Sekolah, although not every year there are also ups and downs. Public transportation that was originally suspended then life started again in 2017 because of ACS, as well as the economy of the drivers public transport is turning again. Angkutan Cerdas Sekolah provides a habit of reading after reading garden in the vehicle and the competition was held twice. Habit of reading and discipline of time when leaving and coming home from school.
