PERKEMBANGAN MOTIF BATIK TULIS TANJUNG BUMI DI DESA PASESEH KECAMATAN TANJUNG BUMI KABUPATEN BANGKALAN TAHUN 1990-2010

Abstract

Batik is one of Indonesia's ancestral cultures that has existed since the royal era and even today. As is the case with Tanjung Bumi written batik in Paseseh Village, Tanjung Bumi District, Bangkalan Regency. The people in Paseseh Village make batik as an artistic value that should be preserved, so that batik becomes a tradition that is inherent in the social life of the community. Tanjung Bumi written batik has developed from year to year, starting from motifs, isen-isen and even coloring. The beginning of the development of Tanjung Bumi written batik was marked by the change in isen-isen which was initially in dots then became in lines. This study uses historical research methods with a focus of study to analyze how the development of the Tanjung Bumi written batik motif in Paseseh Village, Tanjung Bumi District, Bangkalan Regency in 1990-2010 and analyze how the social and economic impacts of the development of the Tanjung Bumi written batik motif in Paseseh Village , Tanjung Bumi District, Bangkalan Regency 1990-2010. The results in this study discuss starting from the early history of Tanjung Bumi written batik in Paseseh Village, Tanjung Bumi District, Bangkalan Regency, the development of Tanjung Bumi written batik motifs in Paseseh Village, Tanjung Bumi District, Bangkalan Regency in 1990-2010, the development of the Tanjung Bumi written batik coloring process. Bumi in Paseseh Village, Tanjung Bumi District, Bangkalan Regency, 1990-2010, as well as the social and economic impacts of the development of written batik motifs that were obtained by the community, both written batik masters, batik craftsmen and consumers.
