ALIH FUNGSI LAHAN PERTANIAN MENJADI KAWASAN INDUSTRI DI KECAMATAN DEKET KABUPATEN LAMONGAN TAHUN 2011-2020

Abstract

Deket is one of the sub-district areas in Lamongan Regency, which has great potential in the agricultural sector. In this
case, agriculture is divided into several sub-sectors, namely food crops, horticulture, animal husbandry, plantations
and fisheries. From 2011 to 2020, Deket District experienced land conversion which was designated for other economic
activities in the form of the industrial sector. The problems examined in this research are (1) Why does agricultural
land conversion occur in Deket District, Lamongan Regency? (2) What are the socio-cultural, economic and
environmental impacts of the conversion of agricultural land in Deket District, Lamongan Regency? The aim of this
research is to explain the background to the conversion of agricultural land into an industrial area and analyze the
socio-cultural impacts, economic impacts and environmental impacts in Deket District, Lamongan Regency. The
research method used in this writing is the historical method, namely the Heuristic, Criticism, Interpretation and
Historiography stages. The results of this research explain that there are impacts that occur from the activity of
converting agricultural land into industrial areas in Deket District, Lamongan Regency, the impacts that occur include
socio-cultural impacts, economic impacts and environmental impacts.
