Abstract

Ponorogo is a district that is famous for its unique art, namely Reyog. Facing threats to cultural heritage due to
the influence of western culture in Indonesia, the Solah Wetan Arts Community was formed with the aim of preserving

Community, (2) how the community developed from 2009 to 2019, (3) what role the community played in preserving
Ponorogo Reyog art during that period. This research uses historical research methods; topic selection, heuristics,
