JARINGAN KOLEKTOR BENDA-BENDA HISTORIS DI KEDIRI, 2009-2020
Abstract
Social networks are a powerful force that influences our lives in many ways. Understanding social networks is
essential to understanding the world around us and to making informed decisions about how we use them. Collectors
are individuals who systematically collect works of art for personal or public use. Art collectors can invest in works of
art for any purpose, from financial gain to cultural or intellectual appreciation. Collectors of historical objects are
those who focus their collections on artifacts, objects, or art objects that have significant historical or archaeological
value. This can include everything from ancient inscriptions, archaeological artifacts, ancient weapons, to items of
historical importance. Therefore, many collector models appeared. The aim of this research is to analyze collectors of
historical objects, analyze the network activities of collectors of historical objects in Kediri, and describe the roles and
challenges of collectors of historical objects in Kediri. The research method in this research is a historical method
which includes heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The research location for this research
is in Kediri. The data sources in the research come from primary sources in the form of interviews and secondary
sources in the form of books and journal articles. The research results show that in the field there are many types of
collectors of historical objects, including specialist collectors, hunter collectors, and commercial/investment collectors.
In this research it was also explained that the network of collectors of historical objects in Kediri formed an
association/community including the Tosan Aji and Keris Panji Joyoboyo Association, Pasak Kadhiri, and PATIKA
(Kadiri Antique Association). Collectors in Kediri also have an important role in preserving the culture and history of
Kediri, they often hold historical events such as exhibitions of historical objects, workshops and keris exchanges which
are intended for the general public.
