RESILIENSI PADA CAREGIVER PENDERITA SKIZOFRENIA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsisten dinamika dan faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi resiliensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus instrumental. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah dua orang yang menjadi caregiver bagi anggota keluargannya yang menderita skizofrenia. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur dengan analisis tematik untuk menganalisis data penelitian. Berdasarkan wawancara yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti dengan subjek, maka didapatkanlah dua tema besar yang menjadi fokus pada penelitian ini yakni, Tema besar pertama adalah dinamika resiliensi caregiver yang terdiri dari tiga sub tema yakni permasalahan caregiver, perjuangan menghadapi masalah dan pencapaian hasil. Tema besar kedua adalah faktor – faktor yang membuat caregiver tetap mau merawat yang terdiri dari faktor protektif dan faktor resiko. Temuan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa caregiver yang telah mengembangkan aspek positif di dalam dirinya, memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup mengenai gangguan jiwa dan menganggap positif perannya sebagai caregiver merupakan faktor pelindung yang memberikan daya dukung pada pencapaian resiliensi caregiver.

Abstract

This research is purposed to know the dinamics consistency and the factors that influence the resilience. This research uses qualitative method with instrumental case research approach. The subjects in this research are two people who become the caregiver for their families who suffer from schizophrenia. The data are taken by doing semi structural interview with thematical analysis to analize the data of the research. Based on the interview that has done by the researcher and the subjects, it is concluded that there are two major themes which become the focus in the research. The first major theme is the caregiver's resilience dinamica which consist of three sub-themes. Those are: the caregiver's problem, the struggling to face the problem, and the result achievement. The second major theme is the factors that make the caregiver always wants to take care, it consists of protective factors and risky factors. The conclusion of the research shows that the caregivers who have developed positive aspect inside their soul will have enough knowledge about mental illness and have positive assumption about their role as the caregiver. Those are the protective factors that support the caregiver's relisience achievement. o have developed positive aspects in themselves, have sufficient knowledge about mental disorders and positively assume their role as caregivers are protective factors that provide support for achieving caregiver resilience.
