HUBUNGAN ANTARA MOTIVASI BELAJAR DENGAN PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK SAAT PEMBELAJARAN JARAK JAUH

Abstrak
Dunia Psikologi mengenal fenomena menunda untuk mengerjakan atau menyelesaikan suatu tugas dengan sebutan prokrastinasi akademik. Hal ini semakin sering dilakukan pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Pembelajaran yang biasanya dilakukan secara tatap muka di sekolah saat ini berubah menjadi pembelajaran jarak jauh sehingga siswa yang sudah biasa didampingi dan diberikan pemahaman materi pelajaran berubah menjadi kegiatan belajar mandiri dari rumah dan minim pengawasan. Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi terjadinya prokrastinasi akademik salah satunya adalah motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan prokrastinasi akademik saat pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan melibatkan sebanyak 190 siswa kelas X di salah satu SMA yang ada di Propinsi Jawa Timur. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu pearson product moment dengan tujuan mengetahui hubungan antara kedua variabel dengan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS 25.0 for windows. Hasil analis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai korelasi antara motivasi belajar dengan prokrastinasi akademik sebesar sebesar -0,340 (p<0,05) artinya bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara prokrastinasi akademik saat pembelajaran jarak jauh. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa jika motivasi belajar siswa tinggi maka prokrastinasi akademik siswa akan cenderung rendah.

Abstract
The world of psychology recognizes the phenomenon of delaying doing or completing a task called academic procrastination. This is increasingly being done during the Covid-19 pandemic. Learning that is usually done face to face in schools is now turning into distance learning so that students who are accustomed to being accompanied and given an understanding of the subject matter turn into independent learning activities from home and minimal supervision. One of the factors that can influence the occurrence of academic procrastination is learning motivation. This study uses quantitative research methods. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between learning motivation and academic procrastination during distance learning by involving as many as 190 class X students in one of the senior high schools in East Java Province. The data analysis technique used is Pearson product moment with the aim of knowing the relationship between the two variables using the SPSS 25.0 for windows program. The results of the data analysis show that the correlation value between learning motivation and academic procrastination is -0.340 (p<0,05), meaning that there is a significant relationship between academic procrastination during distance learning. This shows that if students' learning motivation is high, students' academic procrastination will tend to be low.
