Abstract
When college students feel stress due to the learning process, cyberloafing behavior appears to reduce or eliminate the level of stress experienced by college students as a form of stress coping, and consider this activity as a form of recreation or entertainment. Therefore, research was conducted to find out the relationship between academic stress and cyberloafing behavior in college students. This study used quantitative methods, with 129 college students as research subjects. The sampling technique in this study used a non-probability sampling technique, namely accidental sampling, using two measuring instruments, namely Academic Stress Scale and Cyberloafing Scale. The data analysis technique in this study uses the Product Moment Correlation method which aims to test the correlation of the two variables. The correlation results of the two variables amounted to 0.425 the significance value of the two variables is 0.000 <0.05. So these results can be said that the relationship between academic stress and cyberloafing is positive. When the academic stress experienced by college students increases, the cyberloafing behavior that occurs also increases and otherwise.
