Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the implementation of the problem based learning model to train problem solving abilities. The type of analysis used is quantitative descriptive. The research subjects in class X MIPA Khadijah Surabaya High School were 3 classes, namely the experimental class, replication class I, and replication class II, a total of 80 students. The instrument used in this study is the observation sheet of the implementation of PBL learning to practice physics problem solving. The Observer involved one Physics teacher in the High School and one student from Physics Education study program. The learning implementation score is conserved in the evaluation criteria for implementation. The results of the analysis of the learning implementation of the three classes can be said to be in a good category, for each classs score of 3.4; 3,2; and 3,1. Percentage of Agreement (PoA) from the two observers stated that they met the assessment criteria for stability with very good criteria, for the percentage of assessment in each class was 94.4%; 94.4%; and 97.2%.
