PENGARUH PENGALAMAN PRAKTIK KERJA LAPANGAN (PKL) TERHADAP KESIAPAN KERJA PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL SEBAGAI VARIABEL MEDIASI

Tingginya pengangguran lulusan SMK mengindikasikan kesiapan kerja yang masih rendah. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh pengalaman PKL terhadap kesiapan kerja dengan kecerdasan emosional sebagai mediasi. Populasi 330 siswa kelas XII jurusan Akuntansi, Bisnis Digital, dan Manajemen Perkantoran SMKS Ketintang Surabaya. Sampel 181 siswa dengan rumus Slovin, dan metode proportional stratified random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan SEM-PLS (SmartPLS 4.0). Hasilnya: (1) PKL berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja; (2) PKL berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kecerdasan emosional; (3) kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja; dan (4) kecerdasan emosional memediasi secara signifikan pengaruh PKL terhadap kesiapan kerja. PKL tidak hanya membekali keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional yang memperkuat kesiapan kerja siswa.
