Transformasi Pemikiran Einstein 1905-1921 dalam Relativitas dan Nobel Fisika
Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas transformasi pemikiran Albert Einstein pada periode 1905-1921, yakni sejak publikasi annus mirabilis hingga pengakuan Nobel Fisika. Masalah utama penelitian adalah bagaimana perubahan orientasi konseptual Einstein berlangsung dari kritik terhadap ruang-waktu klasik, perumusan relativitas khusus, perluasan prinsip relativitas ke gravitasi, hingga pengakuan institusional yang justru diberikan melalui efek fotolistrik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif historis dengan strategi studi pustaka, kritik sumber, periodisasi, dan interpretasi sejarah intelektual. Data utama berupa karya primer Einstein tahun 1905, 1907, 1911, 1915, 1916, serta dokumen Nobel, sedangkan data sekunder berasal dari kajian sejarah sains dan pendidikan sains mutakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transformasi pemikiran Einstein tidak bersifat linear, tetapi bergerak melalui empat tahap: perumusan prinsip, operasionalisasi konsep, geometrisasi gravitasi, dan negosiasi pengakuan ilmiah. Nobel Fisika 1921 memperlihatkan paradoks historis: Einstein diakui sebagai simbol relativitas, tetapi secara resmi dihargai karena hukum efek fotolistrik. Kesimpulannya, pemikiran Einstein 1905-1921 mencerminkan perubahan paradigma sains modern sekaligus dinamika sosial pengakuan ilmiah.
