HUBUNGAN ANTARA MUTASI DENGAN MOTIVASI KERJA PADA PEGAWAI PT. X CABANG SURABAYA

Abstrak
Setiap pegawai membutuhkan jabatan yang tepat untuk dirinya agar dapat meningkatkan motivasi kerjanya, maka dari itu setiap kali terdapat masalah yang terjadi pada pegawai PT. X, sering kali pihak manajemen memilih mengajukan mutasi pada pegawai tersebut ke divisi lain dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan motivasi kerja pegawai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara mutasi dengan motivasi kerja pada pegawai PT. X cabang Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 55 pegawai tetap di PT. X. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisa korelasi product moment. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan hubungan antara mutasi dengan motivasi kerja pada pegawai PT. X, semakin baik kondisi mutasi pegawai maka semakin tinggi motivasi kerjanya dan begitu sebaliknya.

Abstract
Every employee needs the right position for himself in order to improve his work motivation, therefore every time there is a problem that happened to the employee of PT. X, often the management chooses to appeal mutations to the other divisions in the hope of increasing employee motivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mutation with work motivation in employees of PT. X branch of Surabaya. This research uses quantitative research method. Subjects in this study as many as 55 permanent employees in PT. X. Data analysis techniques used in this study using product moment correlation analysis. The results of this study show the relationship between mutation with work motivation on employees of PT. X, the better the condition of the employee mutation the higher the motivation of his work and vice versa.
