Fokus penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apa alasan anggota keluarga Suku Samin tetap mempertahankan identitas sosial di tengah Perubahan zaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Pemilihan subjeki penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling dan didapatkan satu keluarga yang terdiri dari ayah, ibu dan satu orang anak yang masih menganut ajaran Samin. Metodei pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pembuatan transkrip, pengkodingan, dan pembuatan tabel tema. Uji keabsahan, data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi sumber. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga partisipan memiliki alasan yang berbeda untuk tetap mempertahankan identitas sosialnya. Masing-masing dari mereka memiliki alasan yang berbeda, namun kesadaran atas banyaknya kesamaan dan adanya ikatan emosional antar individu dengan kelompoknya menjadikan mereka tetap mempertahankan identitas sosialnya sebagi bagian dari anggota komunitas Samin Bojonegoro.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to know the family of Samin Tribe maintain their social identity in the midst of changing times. This research is using qualitative study with a type of case study research. The subjects in this study were selected using purposive sampling with the number of subjects as many a family consisting of a father, mother and one childThe data collection method is using structured interviews. Data analysis techniques is using transcripts, coding, and creation of theme tables. The validity test of the data is using source triangulation. The results of study indicate that three participants have different reasons for maintaining their social identity. Each of them has different reasons, but the awareness of the many similarities and emotional ties between individuals and their groups makes them retain their social identity as part of the Bojonegoro Samin community..
