Abstract
Each individual is expected to be able to carry out developmental tasks in early adulthood in order to achieve psychological well-being. However, not everyone is born with perfect conditions, for example individuals with cerebral palsy. This study aims to determine and understand the description of psychological well-being in early adults with cerebral palsy. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects in this study were people with cerebral palsy from birth with the category of early adulthood. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and observation. The data analysis technique uses thematic analysis and uses member checks and data triangulation as a test of the validity of the data. The results showed that the subject had a fairly good psychological well-being. Subjects are able to accept themselves so they can feel confident. Positive relationships are carried out by loving, complementing and empathizing. The independence that occurs in the two subjects is slightly different. This is due to the different categories of cerebral palsy he experienced, causing SR to have more independence than LA. Adaptability is also owned by both subjects. The existence of a purpose in life makes both subjects always enthusiastic and trying. Self-development is carried out by both subjects so that they can continue to develop their potential.
