Rias wajah karakter adalah rias yang membantu aktor menggambarkan peranan dengan membuat menyerupai watak yang dimainkan. Tata rias karakter termasuk dalam materi di SMK. Model pembelajaran langsung menggunakan prosthetic cocok diterapkan pada kompetensi tata rias wajah karakter di SMK. Prosthetic make up adalah proses menggunakan mematung prosthetic untuk memberikan efek dalam make up melalui proses sculpting, molding, application dan painting.penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui 1) keterlaksanaan sintaks model pembelajaran langsung 2) aktivitas siswa, 3) hasil penguasaan belajar siswa, 4) respon siswa menggunakan prosthetic melalui model pembelajaran langsung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre-eksperiment dengan desain penelitian “TheOne-ShotCase StudyDesign”. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII-a TKKR di SMKN 1 Batu sebanyak 29 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observsi,tes,dan angket. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu rumus rata-rata dan presentase. Hasil penelitian dapat ditunjukkan 1) keterlaksanaan sintaks termasuk kategori sangat baik dengan rata-rata skor nilai sebesar 3,37, 2) aktivitas siswa termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dengan rata-rata skor nilai sebesar 3,55 , 3) hasil penguasaan belajar prosthetic siswa mencapai ketuntasan kriteria minimum 75 dengan rata-rata skor nilai sebesar 76,52 , 4) respon siswa mencapai kriteria sangat baik dengan perolehan presentase nilai sebesar 91%.

Abstract

Character make-up is makeup that helps an actor or player portray a role by making it resemble the face of the character being played. character make-up is one of the teaching materials at SMK Negeri 1 Batu. By using the direct learning model, the cosmetology competence of characters in vocational schools will be more effective. This study aimed to find out 1) the implementation of the syntax of direct learning models 2) student activities, 3) the results of students mastery of learning, 4) student responses using prosthetic through direct learning models. This type of research is a pre-experimental study with the research design "The One-Shot Study Design". The subjects in this study were students of class XII-a TKKR in SMK 1 Batu as many as 29 students. Data collection methods using observations, tests, and questionner. Analysis of the data used is the average formula and percentage. The results of the study can be shown 1) the syntax implementation including the excellent category with the acquisition of an average score of 3.37, 2) student activities included in the very good category with the acquisition of an average score of 3.55, 3) the results of mastery learning prosthetic students achieve completeness of the minimum criteria of 75 with the acquisition of an average score of 76.52, 4) the response of students reached the criteria very well with the acquisition of a percentage value of 91%
