KEMAMPUAN MERIAS KARAKTER PENARI THENGUL MELALUI PELATIHAN DI SANGGAR SAYAP JENDELA BOJONEGORO

Perkembangan media informasi dan internet membuat banyak kalangan muda tertarik mempelajari budaya luar dibandingkan melestarikan budaya lokal, salah satunya adalah seni tari. Tari thengul adalah tarian yang berasal dari perwujudan wayang thengul yang hampir punah sehingga para seniman menciptakan tari thengul. Pada sanggar sayap jendela mempelajari beberapa tarian daerah salah satunya adalah tari thengul. Sanggar ini pernah menampilkan tari thengul dalam beberapa event, setiap pementasan yang melakukan tata rias yaitu ibu winarti dan perias dari luar. Berdasarkan permasalahanmtersebut maka peneliti akan melakukan penelitian berjudul “Kemampuan Merias Karakter Penari Thengul Melalui Pelatihan Di Sanggar Sayap Jendela Bojonegoro”. Tujuan dari peneliti untuk mengetahui : 1) bagaimana keterlaksanaan pelatihan kemampuan merias karakter penari thengul di sanggar sayap jendela bojonegoro 2) bagaimana aktifitas peserta kemampuan merias karakter penari thengul di sanggar sayap jendela bojonegoro 3) bagaimana hasil keterampilan pelatihan kemampuan merias karakter penari thengul di sanggar sayap jendela bojonegoro 4) bagaimana respon peserta pelatihan kemampuan merias karakter penari thengul di sanggar sayap jendela bojonegoro. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pre-experiment design dengan rancangan penelitian one shot case study. Subyek penelitian adalah anggota tari sanggar sayap jendela bojonegoro yang berjumlah 5 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pelatihan memperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,7 (sangat baik), aktivitas peserta pelatihan memperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,8 (sangat baik), penilaian kemampuan tata rias karakter penari thengul memperoleh nilai rata-rata 7,8 (baik), respon peserta pelatihan terhadap pelatihan yang telah diadakan memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 94,5% dengan kriteria sangat baik.

Abstract

The development of information media and the internet has made many young people interested in learning foreign cultures rather than preserving the local culture, one of which is dance art. Thengul dance is a dance originating from the embodiment of thengul puppet which is almost extinct so the artists create Thengul dance. In the sayap jendela studio, they learn some regional dances, one of which is the thengul dance. This studio has performed thengul dance in a several events, every staging that does the makeup that is the Mrs. Winarti and make up artist from outside the studio. Based on these problems, the researcher will conduct a research titled "The Capability To Apply Character Make Up Of Thengul Dancer Through Training At The Sayap Jendela Studio Bojonegoro". The aim of the researchers was to find out: 1) how the training on the ability to make up the character of thengul dancers in the Sayap Jendela Studio Bojonegoro 2) how the participants ability to make up the character of the thengul dancer character in the Sayap Jendela Studio Bojonegoro 3) how the results of the skills training on the ability of thengul dancers in the Sayap Jendela Studio Bojonegoro 4) How the response of the trainees ability to make up the character of thengul dancers in the Sayap Jendela Studio Bojonegoro. This type of research used pre-experiment design with a one shot case study study design. The research subjects were 5 members of the Sayap jendela dance group. Data collection techniques using observation, tests, and questionnaires. The results showed that the implementation of the training received an average value of 3.7 (very good), the activities of the trainees received an average value of 3.8 (very good), the assessment of the cosmetology ability of the dancers of thengul characters obtained an average value of 7.8 (good), the response of trainees to the training that was held obtained an average value of 94.5% with very good criteria.
