PUBLIKA is a peer-reviewed journal published four times a year (March, June, September and December), ISSN 2354-600X (Online), managed and published by the Undergraduate Study Program of State Administration Science, Faculty of Social Science and Political Science, Universitas Negeri Surabaya.

PUBLIKA is available for free (open access) to all readers. The articles in PUBLIKA include topics in Public Policy, Public Management, and Local Administration (theoretical studies, experiments, and their applications).

PUBLIKA also carries a Comments and Criticism section, which provides a forum for expressing different viewpoints, comments, and clarification regarding topics in published papers. A forum for expressing different viewpoints and correcting misunderstandings regarding topics in published papers. Readers of the journal are earnestly invited to contribute their ideas to this forum. 

Peer Review Process

All articles submitted to PUBLIKA will be read and reviewed blindly (single/double-blind peer review) by (minimum) 2 Peer-Reviewers who are experts in their field. All incoming articles will be checked for authenticity to prevent plagiarism by using Turnitin anti-plagiarism software.

The entire process from submission until the publishing of articles is free of charge (no article processing and submission charges). All articles published on PUBLIKA are open access by following the Creative Commons: Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license. Full license can be found here.

Publication Frequency

PUBLIKA is managed by the Undergraduate Study Program of State Administration Science, Faculty of Social Science and Law, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. PUBLIKA is published four times a year (March, June, September and December).
