PERBEDAAN KOMITMEN ORGANISASI DITINJAU BERDASARKAN MASA KERJA PADA KARYAWAN PT. “X” BANYUWANGI

Banyaknya karyawan yang mengundurkan diri dari PT. “X” Banyuwangi selama 3 tahun terakhir, membuat angka turnover pada perusahaan tersebut menjadi semakin tinggi setiap tahunnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan komitmen organisasi ditinjau berdasarkan masa kerja pada karyawan PT. “X” Banyuwangi dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi dengan menggunakan 97 karyawan pada PT. “X” Banyuwangi dengan masa kerja minimal 5 tahun. Kategori masa kerja pada penelitian ini adalah karyawan dengan masa kerja 5-10 tahun, karyawan dengan masa kerja 10-15 tahun, dan karyawan dengan masa kerja lebih dari 15 tahun. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan skala komitmen organisasi. Analisis data statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji analisis varian satu arah. Hasil uji analisis varian satu arah menunjukkan adanya perbedaan komitmen organisasi dengan nilai signifikansi 0,013. Berdasarkan data diketahui perbedaan komitmen organisasi yang signifikan terdapat pada karyawan dengan masa kerja 5-10 tahun dan lebih dari 15 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan komitmen organisasi ditinjau berdasarkan masa kerja. Temuan-temuan dalam penelitian ini memperkuat penelitian-penelitian lain yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan komitmen organisasi ditinjau berdasarkan masa kerja.

Abstract
The number of employees who resign from PT. “X” Banyuwangi in the past 3 years, has made the turnover rate at the company higher every year. This research aims to determine the difference of organizational commitments based on the working perios of employees at PT. "X" Banyuwangi by using quantitative research methods. This quantitative research is conducted by using population of 97 employees at PT. “X” Banyuwangi. The categories of employment in this study are employees with a working period of 5-10 years, 10-15 years, and who have worked for more than 15 years. The data collection in this study is using the organizational commitment scale. The data analylis techniques used in this research is a one way analysis of variance. The one way analysis of variance result shows that there is a difference of organizational commitment with the significant value 0,013. The result shows that there is a significant difference which is shown in the category of employees with a working period of 5-10 years and more than 15 years. This research shows that there is a difference of organizational commitment based on the working period. These findings strengthen other researches show that there is a difference of organizational commitment based on working period.
