HUBUNGAN ANTARA OPTIMISME DENGAN SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING PADA KARYAWAN

Abstrak
Keberhasilan pencapaian tujuan perusahaan salah satunya ditentukan oleh sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki. Sumber daya manusia di suatu perusahaan perlu diperhatikan kesejahteraannya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara optimisme dengan subjective well-being pada karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan subjek penelitian berjumlah 40 karyawan. Fokus penelitian ini hanya pada karyawan unit IT (Information Technology) PT. X yang terbagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu Solutions dan Implementasi (ISP) Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala subjective well-being dan skala optimisme. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah korelasi product moment dengan menggunakan bantuan software SPSS versi 25.0 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara optimisme dengan subjective well-being. Hubungan yang positif menandakan bahwa semakin tinggi optimisme karyawan maka akan semakin tinggi pula subjective well-beingnya, begitu pula sebaliknya semakin tinggi subjective well-being pada karyawan maka semakin tinggi pula optimismenya.

Abstract
The success of achieving company goals is determined by one of the human resources owned. The welfare of human resources in a company needs to be considered. This study aims to determine the relationship between optimism and subjective well-being of employee. This study uses quantitative methods using research subjects totaling 40 employees.The focus of this research is only on employees of the IT (Information Technology) unit of Pt. X which is divided into two parts, namely Solutions and Implementation (ISP). The data collection techniques used were a scale of subjective well-being and scale of optimism. The data analysis technique in study is the product moment correlation using the SPSS version 25.0 for windows software. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, it shows that there is a positive relationship between optimism and subjective well-being. A positive relationship indicates that the higher the employees optimism, the higher the subjective well-being, and vice versa, the higher the subjective well-being of employees, the higher the optimism.
