Perilaku kerja inovatif penting untuk dimiliki pegawai dalam suatu instansi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara leader member exchange dengan perilaku kerja inovatif pada pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa skala leader member exchange dan skala perilaku kerja inovatif yang disusun menggunakan skala likert. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa sampling jenuh, dengan 63 pegawai sebagai partisipan pada penelitian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini korelasi product moment pearson. Hasil dari analisis pada penelitian ini menunjukkan taraf signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05) dengan koefisien korelasi 0,550 (r=0,550). Hal tersebut dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara leader member exchange dengan perilaku kerja inovatif pada pegawai. Hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut menunjukkan hubungan yang memiliki arah sama. Hubungan yang searah memiliki arti bahwa apabila variabel leader member exchange mengalami peningkatan, maka akan diikuti dengan peningkatan variabel perilaku kerja inovatif. Begitu pula sebaliknya apabila variabel leader member exchange mengalami penurunan, maka variabel perilaku kerja inovatif juga akan menurun.

Abstract

Innovative work behavior is important for employees in an institute. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between leader member exchange and innovative work behavior in employees. This research uses quantitative research methods with correlational research design. The data collection techniques in this study consists of the scale of leader member exchange scale and the scale of innovative work behavior which were arranged using a Likert scale. This research used a sampling technique of saturated sampling, with 63 employees as participants in the research. The data analysis technique used in this research is Pearson product moment correlation. The results of the analysis in this research showed a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.05) with a correlation coefficient 0.550 (r=0,550). This means that there is a relationship between leader member exchange and innovative work behavior in employees. The relationship between the two variables shows a relationship that has the same direction. Unidirectional relationship means that if the leader member exchange variable has increased, it will be followed by an increase in the innovative work behavior variable. On the other hand, if the leader member exchange variable has decreased, then the innovative work behavior variable will also decrease.
