Hubungan antara Emotional Intelligence dan Grit Pada Siswa SMA Olahraga Jatim
Abstract
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara emotional intelligence dan grit pada siswa SMA Olahraga Jatim. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Partisipan penelitian ini yaitu 147 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala emotional intelligence dari Goleman (1995/2016) dan skala grit dari Duckworth (2016). Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment dengan software SPSS 25.0. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara emotional intelligence dan grit pada siswa SMA Olahraga Jatim. Koefisian korelasi sebesar 0,676 menunjukkan hubungan yang positif dan signifikan, semakin tinggi emotional intelligence siswa, maka grit-nya juga semakin tinggi.

Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and grit in East Java Sports High School students. The method used is correlational quantitative. The participants of this study were 147 students. Data collection techniques used the emotional intelligence scale from Goleman (1995/2016) and the grit scale from Duckworth (2016). The data analysis technique uses product moment correlation with SPSS 25.0 software. This study shows that there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and grit in East Java Sports High School students. The correlation coefficient of 0.676 indicates a positive and significant relationship, the higher a student's emotional intelligence, the higher their grit.
