DESKRIPSI PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING PADA CAREGIVER PASIEN DENGAN PENYAKIT DEGENERATIF

AbstrakMenjadi seorang caregiver diusia yang masih muda bukanlah perkara mudah. Individu yang menjadi caregiver harus pintar membagi waktu antara perkuliahan dengan tugas perawatan. Mereka merawat orang terdekat yang terkena beragam penyakit dan salah satu penyakit yang banyak muncul adalah penyakit degeneratif. Penyakit degeneratif banyak muncul pada individu berusia lanjut. Macam penyakit yang termasuk kedalam penyakit degeneratif adalah diabetes, penyakit jantung, dementia, dan lainnya. Perawatan yang diberikan berbeda pada tiap pasien. Oleh karena itu, caregiver harus selalu sedia untuk membantu perawatan. Hal ini menjadi salah satu beban yang dapat mempengaruhi psychological well-being seorang caregiver. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapat deksripsi mengenai psychological well-being anak muda yang menjadi caregiver pasien dengan penyakit degeneratif. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Wawancara dilakukan secara semi-terstruktur dengan menggunakan pedoman wawancara pada tiga partisipan berusia 20-21 tahun. Data yang berhasil didapatkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode tematik. Hasilnya menunjukkan deskripsi yang beragam dan bervariasi terkait psychological well-being ketiga partisipan.

Abstract
Being a caregiver at a young age is not an easy matter. The individual caregiver had to be clever about dividing the time between lectures and nursing duties. They care for those closest to you who exposed to a wide variety of illnesses and one of the most common illnesses is a degenerative disease. Many degenerative diseases occur in older individuals. Among the diseases included in degenerative diseases are diabetes, heart disease, dementia, and other diseases. Treatment is different for patients. Hence, caregiver was always available to provide care. It has become one of the psychological burdens of caregiver. Hence, the study aims to get decryption comparisons of young caregiver patients who are caregiver patients with degenerative diseases. Studies conducted using qualitative methodologies with an approach to case studies. The interview conducted on a semi-structured basis using the interview guidelines in three 20-21 - year - old participants. Successfully obtained data analyzed using thematic methods. The results suggest varied and varied descriptions of the three participants.
