Abstract

Penyintas childhood maltreatment pada umumnya memiliki self-esteem yang rendah. Kondisi self-esteem yang rendah dapat menurunkan sumber daya dan mengalami kesulitan dalam menghadapi permasalahan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, dan memberikan dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan mental individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji gambaran self-esteem perempuan dewasa awal penyintas childhood maltreatment. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis tematik. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah tiga perempuan dewasa awal penyintas childhood maltreatment. Penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu tema yaitu gambaran self-esteem pada partisipan. Dalam penelitian ini menemukan bahwa gambaran self-esteem pada setiap partisipan berbeda dan tidak semua penyintas childhood maltreatment mempunyai self-esteem yang rendah.
