PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE PAIR-CHECK PADA KOMPETENSI DASAR MENERAPKAN KESELAMATAN KERJA

Abstract

Abstrak : Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair check merupakan model pembelajaran yang menuntut kemandirian dan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan persoalan. Model ini juga melatih tanggung jawab sosial siswa, kerjasama, dan kemampuan memberi penilaian. Tujuan penelitian ini 1) mengetahui keterlaksanaan sintaks model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair check pada kompetensi dasar menerapkan keselamatan kerja, 2) mengetahui aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran pair check, 3) mengetahui hasil belajar siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran pair check, 4) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran pair check. Jenis penelitin yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas atau Classroom Action Research dilakukan di kelas X Kecantikan 1 SMK Negeri 3 Kediri dengan 35 siswa yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi.. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes hasil belajar dan angket. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitaian ini berupa data kuantitatif dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Keterlaksanaan sintaks pembelajaran pair check pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 3.42 (sangat baik), sedangkan pada siklus II 3.74 (sangat baik). Aktivitas siswa mencapai rata-rata 79,35% (baik) pada siklus I, dan siklus II dengan rata-rata aktivitas siswa mencapai 93,62%( sangat baik). Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I scara klasikal 82,86% dinyatakan tuntas dan pada siklus II secara klasikal 100% dinyatakan tuntas. Hasil respon siswa pada siklus II mencapai 93,6% (sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, terjadi peningkatan dari siklus I ke Siklus II pada keterlaksanaan sintaks pembelajaran pair check meningkat 0,29, aktivitas siswa meningkat 14,27%, dan hasil belajar siswa meningkat 17,14%.

Abstract: Cooperative learning of Pair Check is a learning model that demands the independence and ability of the student in resolving the issue. This model is also to train the students social responsibility, cooperation, and the ability to give an assessment. The purpose this research 1) knowing the syntax of cooperative learning model of pair check on the competency base of applying safety, 2) knowing the activities of students during the learning process using a model of learning pair check, 3) know the learning outcomes student after participating in cooperative learning pair check, 4) know the response of the students towards learning using learning pair check. The type of research used in this research is the Research Action class or Classroom Action Research conducted in class X Beauty 1 SMK Negeri 3 Kediri with 35 students was implemented in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection methods used are observation, tests the research results of the study and the now. Data obtained in this in the form of quantitative data and analyzed are descriptive. The results showed that: realization learning pair syntax check on cycle I obtained mean 3.42 (very good), while on cycle II 3.74 (very good). The activity of students achieved mean 79.35% (good) on the cycle I and cycle II with an average student activity achieved mean 93.62%(very good). The results of student learning on a cycle I classical 82.86% expressed satisfaction and cycle II in classical 100% expressed satisfaction. The results of student response in cycle II reached 93.6% (very good). Based on the results of the study, there was an increase from cycle to Cycle I and II on realization learning pair check syntax increased 0.29, student activities improved 14.27% , student learning outcomes and increased 17.14%.
