The skill of self-study is an important skill for complex material such as sliceing of cones. A slice of cones is one of the most important topics in geometry as it has many real-life applications, such as in engineering, architecture, astronomy and graphic design. Therefore, understanding this material is an important basis for continuing to higher mathematics learning, especially in the fields of science and technology. The results of the needs analysis of students show that many have difficulty understanding the concept of slices of a cone independently due to the lack of interesting and interactive learning media. Because this material requires visualization skills, it requires media that can present concepts digitally and visually. As a solution, researchers developed an interactive e-module to support fun and effective independent learning.
This study aims to describe the process and results of developing interactive e-modules on slices of cone material using the ADDIE development model. In the implementation stage, the research design used the One-Shot Case Study model, which was tested on 26 students of class XI-1 of SMAN 1 Krian. The results of the e-module evaluation showed that the validity percentage was 75.78% for the material and 77.88% for the media (valid category). The practicality aspect was obtained from the students' response questionnaire with a percentage of 90.96% (very practical category). Meanwhile, the effectiveness aspect is assessed from the results of practice questions with an average score of 86.53% (very effective category).
