Abstract
This study aims to find out the relationship between job demands and work stress in members of police units. The research uses quantitative methods, which are analyzed using statistical calculations. Sampling using saturated sample techniques using 60 police personnel. Data collection techniques use job demand scales and work stress scales with scaling models. The data analysis in this study used the product moment correlation technique with the help of the SPSS 24.0 for windows program which aims to find out the relationship between the two variables in the study. The results of the analysis showed a coefficient value (r) of 0.612 and a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05). The results showed a unidirectional relationship between job demands and work stress in police units. This shows that the higher the demands of the work, the higher the work stress level of the police officers, and vice versa the lower the job demands the lower the level of work stress on police officers.
