Abstract

Abstrak
Kelekatan orang tua dengan remaja sangat penting untuk membentuk kecerdasan emosional. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kelekatan orang tua dengan kecerdasan emosional pada remaja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 137 remaja. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kelekatan orang tua dengan kecerdasan emosional pada remaja. Nilai koefisien menunjukkan hubungan yang cukup dan searah.

Abstract
Parents attachment with adolescents is very important to shape emotional intelligence.. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parents attachment and emotional intelligence in adolescents. The method used in this research is the quantitative correlational methods with the research subjects totaling 137 adolescents. The data analysis technique used Pearson Product Moment correlation. The test results show that there is a significant relationsip between parents attachment and emotional intelligence on adolescents. The results of correlation coefficient value show that there is a moderate relationship and is unidirectional.
