Abstract
Final semester students generally have uncertainty about the future they will go through after completing their education in college. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many changes occurred suddenly and required the public to be ready for these changes, including students. In the field of education, the learning system is shifting from face-to-face learning to online learning, of course, can affect the learning opportunities that students should be able to get when learning is done face-to-face, especially for students of the Faculty of Education who need to do an Introduction to the School Field. PLP). In addition, many companies have gone out of business and laid-off workers, thus indirectly triggering anxiety for students to be more competitive in the world of work. The phenomenon that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic, as described above, indirectly triggers anxiety in final semester students, so it is necessary to have a means of reducing stress by conducting assessments and behavioral changes called self-regulation. Therefore, this study was conducted to learn more about the relationship between self-regulation and anxiety in final students of the Faculty of Education during a pandemic which was analyzed using quantitative correlational methods. The research subjects are students of the Faculty of Education, State University of Surabaya, who is entering the eighth semester and above. The results based on the Pearson product-moment analysis calculation obtained a correlation analysis value of -0.634 with a significance value of 0.000. Therefore, it can be concluded that if the individual has a high self-regulation score, the lower the anxiety experienced by final semester students in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Conversely, if the individual's self-regulation score is low, the higher the level of anxiety he has.
